Situated a few kilometres from the historical centre of Spoleto, in a splendid position that dominates the town, surrounded by eight hectares of natural meadows and woods, the Villa has been ably restored to be turned into a hotel that combines the unchanged original characteristics, with the comforts of homely hospitality and high quality. Built in 1880, the villa was the country residence of the architect Giovanni Battista Milani, who enlarged and enriched it according to the classical-renaissance characteristics of the time and his own refined taste and passion for ancient art.

Awarded Historical Residence by Regione Umbria in December 1999, Villa Milani has eleven rooms named after the constellations, accurately furnished with valuable antique furnishing. All rooms have private en-suite bathrooms (with shower or hydro massage bath - tub) and all mod cons. The rich buffet breakfast is arranged on an antique table, overlooked by an impressive 19th century mirror. From 8.30 am to 10.30 am, guests can choose among a wide variety of cold & hot drinks, freshly made breads and pastries. It may be served in the dining rooms, in the garden on beautiful ceramic tables from Deruta or, on request, in the privacy of your bedrooms

The eighteen- century portal of the Salon opens on a nice Italian garden. In summer, this area is the ideal place to enjoy "en plain air" the delicious breakfast buffet or the excellent food from the "Piccola Carta" for lunch or dinner. The swimming pool of Villa Milani, overlooking the green meadows and the woods of Monteluco valley, is a spectacular scenery for relaxing moments. Guests can relax enjoying a pleasant water massage and air jets in our circular hydro massage bath tube accessible from the swimming pool.
